In an effort to become a leading provider of Internet media and social information solutions that deliver value to the public, TagLikeMe Corp., has commenced development of the mobile Google (News
- Alert) Android Tablet App of its social search and sharing platform online at TagLikeMe.com.
"We have commenced our app development for the Google Android (News - Alert) tablet market," states Richard Elliot-Square, president and CEO of TagLikeMe Corp.
Hence, TagLikeMe.com, the social network that allows individuals to search the Internet by using the top three search engines of Yahoo, Bing and Google will shortly be available to Android users, noted company officials.
According to figures released by Google, there are over 300 million Android devices in use throughout the world, including 12 million Android tablets. This means Google’s Android is right at the top of the table for tablet devices.
Although Android does not have the largest installed base, it is still a meaningful and potentially profitable part of TagLikeMe's future. Given the existing device figures, TagLikeMe's current venture is rather significant.
Representing next-generation search and share technology, the TagLikeMe website allows groups to search, tag (News - Alert) and share all forms of digital content privately or publicly using cloud based technology. In addition, it also allows users to view related activities from popular social media based sites such as Facebook, YouTube (News - Alert) and more in a single search inquiry.
Its powerful features for collaborating, chatting, searching and sharing all online digital content with others around the world from a single location adds a human element that tends to be missing in other search and online interactions.
Elliot-Square appeared keen to make the product available as soon to as many users in the best way possible so that it could utilize Google's Android features on all devices, anywhere at any time.
The launch of the new Google Android Tablet App mobile app version of TagLikeMe is slated for Q4 2012 and Google's approval for sale through its Google Play marketplace or system is still pending.
TagLikeMe Corp. , has seen a ramp up in downloads of its mobile app from the iTunes App Store since it was released earlier this month. The adoption has been accompanied by a very high customer satisfaction rating of the new app that uses a social component to search, tag and share all forms of digital content in a single interface.
