LogMeIn Introduces Operator-Grade Remote Support to Any IT Helpdesk

LogMeIn has updated LogMeIn Rescue, which allows companies to provide advanced remote support for Samsung (News - Alert), HTC, Motorola and Sony Android devices.
Companies are resorting to remote support these days, as it reduces the need to travel and provides more options for both companies and employees. It allows users to do more work and hence brings in more business.
LogMeIn Rescue is available on demand and users are not required to deploy any software to use it. This is well suited for bring-your-own-device (BYOD) work environments, allowing anybody to add remote support to helpdesk services. More than 50 of the world's largest telecom firms already make use of this device, the company stated.
This new release helps IT professionals or service providers to ask a user to download a free Rescue app. This app is available in the Google (News - Alert) Play market.
LogMeIn Rescue provides remote support technicians with the ability to service a large number of smartphones. It improves customer satisfaction, reduces support costs, and solves issues on the first call.

Recently, the company announced that Scripps Networks Interactive chose company’s join.me product. join.me provides team collaboration and various other features.
