Knoodle recently added a new set of capabilities to its fully integrated cloud-based social learning platform, to let businesses use and share online training content and presentations across YouTube and Google (News
- Alert) Docs.
The extension provides a number of efficient ways for companies to deploy continuous knowledge sharing programs and collaborative learning solutions.
In addition to providing basic integrated user management and single sign-on through Google Apps, the solution includes certain other key functionalities. Knoodle provides access via the Chrome Web Store enabling additional reach, availability and full support on native Chrome and Google Cloud Print.
The direct, one-click publishing feature allows presentations to be made available through Google Docs and YouTube (News - Alert) either across the organization or publicly throughout the world. The end-to-end mobile learning capabilities are fully functional on Android (News - Alert)-enabled devices and Google Chromebooks. Audio, video, images and presentations can be imported from YouTube and Google Docs into Knoodle, and the files stored on Google can be directly accessed by users.
"We believe strongly that learning technology for the social enterprise must do much more than just facilitate internal collaboration,” said Michael Rose, General Manager of Knoodle. “These new capabilities are a reflection of our commitment to enable continuous learning and the seamless exchange of ideas between internal teams, as well as with remote field organizations and the external ecosystems of customers and partners leveraging leading social enterprise platforms like Google Apps.”
With the addition of these new capabilities, Knoodle strengthens its position in the market as the sole social learning platform offering enterprises a whole range of integrated social learning possibilities by leveraging Google Apps along with seamless access, publishing and sharing of online content.
From new employee on-boarding programs, product how-to demos and online certification courses, Knoodle makes it simple to rapidly build and deploy any type of content. The increased reach, sharing and authoring capabilities of the Google ecosystem go together with the rapid analytics, testing and authoring qualities, giving Knoodle a leading name in the enterprise learning space. The app is available for a free trial download from the Google Apps Marketplace.
